To determine the correct size chimney cap, simply measure the outside diameter of the flue.
For diameter measurements that fall between 7" to 9" use the 8" chimney cap.
For diameter measurements that fall between 9" to 11" use the 10" chimney cap.
For diameter measurements that fall between 11" to 13" use the 12" chimney cap.
For diameter measurements that fall between 13" to 15" use the 14" chimney cap.
For diameter measurements that fall between 15" to 17" use the 16" chimney cap.
For diameter measurements that fall between 17" to 19" use the 18" chimney cap.
The screws on these chimney caps simply hand tighten up to the side of the flue.
If your flue does not extend at least 1" above the top of the chimney please order chimney cap brackets.
