This chimney cap features a high temperature, rust resistant, satin smooth black finish. They feature a 24-ga., single piece galvanized steel lid with 18-ga., 3/4" galvanized steel, 6 1/2" high mesh. For extra strength the base is constructed of 14-ga. galvanized steel. And for added security against animal invasion, you'll find the lower edges of the mesh are folded inward. The Hy-C Galvanized Chimney Cap carries a seven-year warranty for workmanship.
